We shy to touch
when we're in company, but our eyes are entwined.
So I close the door,
I draw the curtains shut, to recreate Tabu.

Most of the time
I imagine things on how to change our world.
You hide your yawns -
with you it's always late, and almost time to go.

And these feverish dreams...
I won't let them take you away from me.
It was just a glimpse outside
that infected me and poisoned our land

Now I walk through my flesh
with a body that became a stranger by contempt.
